​An unusual and rare Aesthetic Movement gilt brass vase or pot stand by ‘Townshend & Co’. Suppliers to Liberty of London. Makers name stamp. circa 1885.

Townshend and Co were based in Ernest Street, Birmingham from 1880. A quality brass foundry and copper and brass metalware specialist.
